Why Bryan's Running
Bryan is running for Nanaimo City Council because he believes residents deserve a safer, more affordable, and more accountable city government.
Over the past decade, he has watched growing concerns around public safety, rising property taxes, and what many residents perceive as a lack of transparency and fiscal responsibility at City Hall. He believes too many homeowners, renters, seniors, and business owners are struggling under increasing financial pressures while feeling less secure in their neighbourhoods.
Bryan is committed to helping restore confidence in local government by focusing on core municipal responsibilities, improving public safety, strengthening accountability, and ensuring taxpayers receive value for every dollar spent.
He believes common sense should guide decision-making at City Hall and that council must remain focused on serving the needs and priorities of Nanaimo residents.
Key Priorities
